Laura’s Likes: seven cherry red pieces to nail the sought-after cherry vibe

The new year’s looking fruity – and maybe a little bit pithy. It’s definitely not going to be drab anyway. Because we’re starting the new trend cycle with bold cherry red.

2024 began with the Pantone Color Institute predicting Peach Fuzz as the colour of the year. But it didn’t take long for a soft butter yellow to push its way to the top of the favourite colours list. Until – thanks to singer Charli XCX – the entire (pop culture) world turned a brash brat green. Now, unfortunately, brat summer is officially long behind us – and the colour compass needs to be readjusted.

Enter the cherry. That’s right: this year will once again be dominated by a fruit. At least that’s what visual social network Pinterest has calculated based on its search queries. Terms like «cherry vibe» and «dark cherry red» are currently hot, with an increase of up to 325 per cent.

No sweat. We’ll be prepared for the cherry vibe trend. For example, with these seven cherry red pieces.
