Extra-wide trousers, striped shirts and branded beanies: spring fashion inspo
by Laura Scholz

Desperately looking for a good excuse to add items to your spring wardrobe? Well, I’ve got five for you.
As is the case at the start of every new season, the first trend waves are already sweeping over us as we move into the eagerly awaited spring. So what are they washing up? Pieces in powder pink, lots of boho including flounces and fringes and a very specific type of shoe that was considered boring until recently.
2025 is all about pastels. Choose between pale sky blue, pistachio green reminiscent of the latest chocolate craze and particularly popular powder pink. The latter works for accessories, but can easily take centre stage as the main colour of your outfit.
Fluttering flounces and fringes swaying in the spring breeze are bringing back boho this year. Depending on your age, you’ll have gone through this in the early 2000s. Maybe you still have the odd piece in your wardrobe? If not, there’s no need to worry. The current selection of boho items is a feast for the eyes.
They’re bulbous, comfortable and have been around since last summer: barrel jeans. If you’re still wondering how to combine these unconventionally cut trousers, I recommend checking out this guide.
What sounds a bit pretentious is basically just sports-inspired clothing with a fancy touch. Think ballet-inspired wrap tops that are proving particularly popular at the moment. Or short tennis skirts with sewn-in hot pants.
Anyone sporting classic boat shoes or moccasins, which are also known as deck shoes, would’ve been branded a style square until recently. Now, these loafers are everywhere and even considered cool. No need to understand how this happened, but maybe it’s worth keeping this shoe trend in the back of your mind for now.
Always in the mood for good hits, great trips and clinking drinks.
Practical solutions for everyday problems with technology, household hacks and much more.
