You might associate the colour yellow with butter, bananas or even dandelions. But here’s why it should be on your mind when you buy your next pair of sneakers.

Frankly, this sneaker trend isn’t exactly a massive surprise. For months now, the colour yellow has been seeping into more and more aspects of our lives, from fashion to interior design. At the end of March, pop phenomenon Bad Bunny launched a golden yellow shoe collaboration with Adidas. Meanwhile, Harry Styles was spotted strolling through the streets of London, Berlin and Rome in nylon yellow Prada kicks.

With this in mind, it was only a matter of time before the rest of the world hopped on the yellow footwear bandwagon.
