What are the opening hours of the chat support? In my experience, it is available rather sporadically. The chat is by far my favourite contact option :)

I ordered a Sony Xperia V III from Digitec Galaxus on 10 January 2022 and took out a 5-year extended warranty for CHF 141. On 15 October 2025, a green line unexpectedly appeared on the screen of my smartphone for no apparent reason. After a quick Google search, I found out that this is a known problem with this type of smartphone and the Samsung display used. With this information, I then opened a service case with Digitec Galaxus. In consultation with an employee, I ordered an identical smartphone as a replacement, with the agreement that I would not have to pay for it and could return it after the service case had been completed. Due to a delay in delivery, I only received the replacement device 4 weeks later, on 14 November 2025. I discovered that the replacement appliance had the same fault as soon as it was switched on for the first time. I then took both devices to the service centre in Wohlen, showed the employees at the counter both devices with the defective screens and left my device there for repair. After about 2-3 weeks, I enquired for the first time via chat about the status of my service case and when I could expect my device back. I was told that they didn't know and that I should be patient for another week. In the weeks that followed, I contacted Digitec on a weekly basis, both via chat and by phone. Each of the 7(!) different employees put me off for another week, I received no information about the status of the repair from anyone and promised feedback to me was not given. I have also asked each of the 7 employees to enter a reminder stop for the replacement device. Last week I set Digitec a final deadline of 7 days, which passed unused and to which I also received no response. Now 8 weeks have passed since I handed in my smartphone. I have not received any information about what the problem is or how Digitec plans to proceed. In addition, despite several reminders, I have received a second reminder with reminder fees and a threat to stop delivery of any further orders. As a reminder, the set for which I received the reminder is also defective and I have informed Digitec of this. In my opinion, Digitec Galaxus' behaviour is unacceptable (not least because I have paid an additional CHF 141 without receiving any service in return). After Digitec also failed to respond to my last message, I have now contacted SRF Kassensturz.

Somehow the enclosures lack a filter for the number of USB front ports (and whether USB 2.0 or USB 3.x) ?

I am looking for an extra-long monitor mount. It is to be mounted on the corner of my desk. To the left, the monitor should be centred above the desk. To the right, it should be centred in front of my bike on the roller trainer and used there for Rouvy or Zwift. This means that a total distance of 1.20 metres would have to be bridged. The distance from the anchor point to the side is therefore 60 cm. A little longer is also possible. Unfortunately, I can't find anything suitable. The monitor is a LG38WN95C-W with 38 inches and 8.3kg. Does anyone know of a suitable mount? Thanks for your help.

Is it visible on the package in which the items are sent what is inside?

Bought Kärcher backpack hoover. Arrived without battery. After complaining, I was told that it was in the description, but without battery. As I don't have time to look at all the details, I overlooked this. But it's a huge snake hunt! Surely 30% of the orders only see this when they receive the product. Battery costs an additional 280. Never again Galaxus!

Hello community, I'm putting out an alert and I'd like to know if I'm the only one shocked by the quality of PCs from the Captiva and Avlano brands, which dominate Digitec. A few figures to start with: these two brands account for 5,170 references, or more than 84% of the "PC Gaming" range! But what's even more absurd is that less than 0.5% of this massive catalogue is actually in stock for next-day delivery. The real problem is that almost all of these machines, analysed at random, suffer from serious technical aberrations, designed to fool the unwary buyer. The pattern is always the same: The RAM is systematically sabotaged: Very often we find a single-channel configuration, which halves the bandwidth and causes a performance loss of 15 to 25% in games. A 2479 CHF PC (Captiva R89-085) sold with "1 x 64GB DDR5 5200MHz" is a technical heresy. The components are "No-Name": unbranded and uncertified power supplies (PSUs) and SSDs are installed, even on machines costing almost CHF 4,000 (Captiva R90-729). It's like playing Russian roulette with expensive hardware. Stability and security are sacrificed. Platforms are often obsolete: In 2025, PCs costing over CHF 1,000 (Captiva R88-503) are being sold on a 2017 AM4 platform, with no possibility of upgrading. My question is addressed directly to Digitec: how can your in-house expertise allow machines that are the antithesis of all good PC assembly practice to go by? It's a paradox that seriously damages your credibility. My approach is not to accuse, but to alert. So I ask you: am I the only one shocked by this situation? Is it normal for a reference brand to allow its catalogue to be dominated by thousands of phantom and technically dubious configurations? The debate is open. To end on a constructive note, there is one obvious solution: Digitec should launch its own range of 'Digitec Certified' PCs. 5 to 10 configurations, not 5000. Machines designed by your experts, totally transparent, that the community would be proud to recommend. It would be a real vote of confidence.

I've had a return in progress for 2 weeks and I still haven't received any labels.

Hello everyone, Does anyone know of a generator that can supply an entire motorhome with electricity for two to three days in winter if necessary? Let's assume that the solar panels no longer provide enough power due to the weather conditions and I have to supply the entire motorhome with electricity. Including the computer, satellite internet and a larger screen (I have to work on it for at least 4 hours a day), an online computer requires 132.0 Ah / day in winter. So with 3000 watts I should be on the safe side? Which device can still be operated reasonably quietly and doesn't need to be refuelled every 2 hours? Unfortunately, the noise level is given in db for a few appliances here in the shop. Many thanks in advance for your input. Kind regards. Andreas

Would you be adding the Oatly Barista Leger to your range?

Office PCs with old hardware are being sold as gaming PCs at overpriced prices.

Components that are 10+ years old are deliberately sold as new PCs, which is clearly fraud.

Hello Digitecler(s) I am looking for a telephone, 1 or duo set, that is compatible with Salt Fibre Box Wi-Fi 7+. It must therefore be equipped with, I believe, an RJ11 socket. Could you tell me which brand of phone is best suited for this. Thank you in advance for your expert advice! It must have a Swiss plug for mains and telephone cable! Happy New Year to you all! Thank you very much

Hello, why is there no Wellauer tobacco for rolling any more? I've always bought the big boxes, but I can't find it anywhere in my neighbourhood.

I will be buying a new laptop in the next few months and have almost certainly decided in favour of a Dell device with Ubuntu. Strangely, as far as I can see, no-one sells these machines except Dell directly, not even digitec. Does anyone know the reason? Digitec/Galaxus also have other things in their range that don't sell in huge quantities. I find Dell a bit cumbersome with delivery and possible repairs, I would prefer digitec.

Hello, it would be great if we could have this brand's cream for skin rashes. It's great and it's not heavy or greasy when worn in summer.

Unfortunately, after a long time, I tried again on Thu 1 Jan with Saturday delivery (Sa 3 Jan delivery was announced). The last time it was just a headset. Digitec apparently dispatched it on Friday but the post office didn't receive it. Contacted customer service, waited for next Saturday, no change. Then at some point a replacement delivery. Now it's exactly the same again. Ordered 3 monitors, post office received nothing. I'm afraid the parcel will have disappeared again? At the moment I still have some hope that the parcel will still go out at the beginning of the week. What are your experiences? Btw at the same time I ordered something from Brack, this parcel arrived on Sat 3 Jan.

I am looking for the pure raw product from the plant, for DIY ointment. Does Galaxus have anything like this on sale?

Hello Digitec Can you briefly explain to me where the razer basilisk x hyperspeed has disappeared to? It was available for months for around 50Fr and now suddenly no longer available although it is still available from razer. Thank you in advance for your competent answer. Have a nice day.

I ordered toners from Galaxus. These were supposedly delivered 2 days ago and have now gone back to the distribution centre because supposedly no one was there to receive them. Which was not true, there was someone there all day. Galaxus does not respond to emails. I can indicate in the order itself that it has not been delivered. In this case, I should contact the customer service centre. However, I am not told how to do this. As with many other shops, there is no contact email/phone number for customer service on the website. When I search for customer service or support, I am of course only offered new products. Can anyone help me with this? I would like to complete my very last Galaxus order here quickly

How can it be that fragrances here are often 100Fr. or so cheaper than all other retailers? Are they fakes? The price is too good to be true... E.g. Maison Margiella Jazz Club 100ml for 80Fr???

Does anyone know of a good storage box for P-Touch ribbons that can be closed with a lid? I imagine the box so that you can put the ribbons in it in a row with the front labelling facing upwards. That way you can find the correct ribbon quickly. Does anyone have any ideas or experience?
