These are currently my favourite hair products

Are you looking for a new hair care product? I recently came across a few real gems. Here are three and a half recommendations.
Shine shampoo and conditioner by Sante
Want your hair to shine? The Sante shine shampoo and conditioner are winners in my eyes. The natural cosmetics brand’s rich formulas are silicone-free, vegan and nourish your mane with plant protein without weighing it down. The organic birch leaf extract it contains is also said to promote blood circulation in the scalp and thus strengthen the hair root. And what about the smell? The restrained coconut scent is okay, but nothing that sends my nasal mucous membranes into ecstasy.
I haven’t tested the hair mask from this line yet. But it’s in my shopping cart.

Alternative: I recently took a mini version of the Rausch seaweed shampoo and the matching conditioner with me on our team trip to Hamburg. My colleague Laura Scholz agreed that my hair was particularly shiny after using it.
Detox Shampoo by Ouai
«It’s me! Hi, I’m a gamechanger.» If this (strong but heavenly) perfumed shampoo from Ouai could speak, that would have probably been the first sentence I heard. For a long time, I was looking for a product that would remove styling residue and build-up from my hair. To be honest, I really didn’t expect it to make such a difference. It shines, I have volume at the roots and, best of all, my hair doesn’t get greasy so quickly, meaning I don’t have to wash it as often. I probably owe that to the apple cider vinegar in it. According to the manufacturer, the detox shampoo smells like a mixture of lychee, bergamot, white musk and champagne. In terms of price, it’s in the upper bracket. I used the shampoo sparingly and primarily on my roots, and sometimes even mixed it with my regular shampoo.
You need quite a bit of force when squeezing the bottle because the plastic is very robust. But the good thing is that it stops you from pouring too much. I like the pearly-milky look of the bottle so much that I enjoy displaying it in my shower. That’s certainly not a watertight justification for buying it, but it is a satisfying extra.
According to the manufacturer, this shampoo is suitable for all hair types. Recommended use: once a week.

10-in-1 Miracle Treatment Oil by L'Oréal Elseve
Having knots in my hair is almost a lifestyle for me. What a conditioner or mask can’t fix, the all-rounder Elseve by L’Oréal can. Simply apply to towel-dried hair and then comb through. You can always rely on this hair care spray.
According to the manufacturer, the silicone-free formula can do more than just detangle the hair and smell great. It nourishes the hair with various oils, makes it supple and soft, reduces hair breakage, adds shine, simplifies styling and protects against frizz and heat up to 230° Celsius. I can only guess what is meant by the phrase «protection against daily aggression» on the back of the packaging. I guess it should have read «protection against daily environmental influences». Still, it kind of fits. Up till now the knots in my hair have stirred up many loud arguments between me and my brush, but these are now a thing of the past.
According to the manufacturer, this oil is suitable for dry, unruly hair.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
