Tunnel extensions are available separately, some of which must be shortened depending on the thickness of the drain hole. To replace, the flap must be loosened with the 4 screws that hold the flap together.

Good evening Mr Haegloev, we have had this brand of cat flap for decades (our cat passed away at the end of the year). We were even able to sell the flap on. But now to your question: It has never happened to us personally, one assumption is the battery. Is one inserted or is it still functional? The information on this can be found in the operating instructions from page 115 onwards. Unexpectedly, your entry brought us back to the days of Solbad Sigeriswil, where our daughter Melanie did her apprenticeship. She now works at the Ochsen Münsingen. I have mounted the cat door in an insulating glass with a hole Ø 213mm. All accessories were included with the ordered door.

Hello, I doubt that it works with a tag, because the chip is then too far away, the chip is in the neck of the cat. But why don't you have the cats chipped, it only has advantages the flap works and if the cat runs away you can see where it belongs.

Unfortunately, our flap had the same problem. The cat could not be read in. We sold our house together with the flap. We now live in a flat and the cat is at home in Ticino.
After the move, the cat flap no longer worked, i.e. it took us a very long time to scan the two cats, and with one cat, the recognition never worked properly. Our vet thinks that in some places other electronic devices or wireless (?) interfere with the reception. Anyway, we gave up after a few months and bought another cat flap (SureFlap). We have absolutely no problems with it, and it is much easier to programme, but only battery operated.

We have been using this product for about 10 years. But a profile for each cat is unfortunately not available with this model. But there are other products that can be controlled via app. Maybe you can find something suitable.

No, that is not possible. The best way is to follow the assembly instructions (as described) step by step: Temporarily assemble the cat flap (without flap!), read in the cats (we did this on the floor with treats, because it doesn't always work immediately with the chip reading, then they could always go through the door again), then install at the final location (door, window), and only at the very end (when everything works) connect the battery. The chip reader does not work with battery operation alone! Good luck :-).
