Interior inspiration: from Portugal with love

I’m still taken with my last short trip to Lisbon. So now I want a piece of Portugal for my home. If you’re one of the lucky people who has seen this Mediterranean beauty with your own eyes, you’ll know just how seductive the Portuguese style is. For all of you who haven’t, I’m happy to break it down.
Tiles
Cities like Lisbon or Porto impress with more than just their architecture. The houses are not just colourfully painted but adorned with beautiful tiles. This makes strolling through the narrow streets even more fun.
Ceramics
It’s not just houses that are prettified with ceramics but they also play a vital role in local product design. With their unique colours and patterns, Portuguese tableware and decorative accessories are a great way of setting an amazing table for friends – both indoors and out.
Natural
Portugal is a country known for its cork production. And this versatile material is used for more than just bottles. Natural plant fibre and wood are similarly popular in Portuguese designs. The colourful ceramics with woven fibres and oiled wood make for a perfect combination.
