Impossible is not versatile
I often select my own products because I want them for myself. It's a bit selfish, I admit. That said, our range includes some wonderful two-in-one items that will appeal to (almost) everyone.
At my house, intelligently designed furniture gets a hero's welcome. As I don't live in a big, posh villa, I'm fond of furniture and accessories that kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. And there are a few in our range that I'd like to introduce to you.
"Buchtisch" by Müller Möbelwerkstätten
Designer Franz Dietrich had the idea of transforming a piece of furniture into a magazine rack and coffee table: to do this, he tilted a cube, created a cavity and added an additional horizontal plane. The glasses now sit next to the magazines inside.
For 150 years, Müller Möbelwerkstätten, a family business based in northern Germany, has been shaking up the furniture market with innovative products. Among its best-known items is the Stapelliege, two bunks stacked on top of each other.

"Rock" by Bloomingville
Every footstool should take a leaf out of this book: instead of an empty space, "Rock" has turned it into storage. To access it, simply lift the lid by pulling on the leather tab: blankets, candles or even remote controls disappear from view when not in use.
Bloomingville comes to us straight from Denmark, a tad higher up than Müller Möbelwerkstätten. With its creations, this brand strives to bring "joy through change".

"Linear" by Markslöjd
This floor lamp tackles a common problem: bulky cables. The "Linear" model has a single power supply for both the lamp and the USB cable. The integrated tablet becomes a charging station in its own right.
Reading lamps, table lamps and wall lamps: light is Markslöjd's business. For this Swedish brand, lighting is not an end in itself.

"Ripple" by Ferm Living
This carafe comes with a glass that doubles as a lid. The next time you're thirsty, you'll have everything at your fingertips. "Ripple" will look great next to the bed, on the desk or in the guest room.
Ferm Living, a brand from Copenhagen, goes for the essentials in order to simplify your life. Their products aim to be versatile and help to "balance life's contrasts".
"Carla" by Nordal
Both coat rack and mirror, "Carla" leans against the wall with a certain casualness. This piece of furniture is quick and easy to install wherever you want - no screws required - in a dressing room or entrance hall, for example: caps, scarves and jackets will all find their place there.
Nordal, another family-run business, stands out for its timelessness and, as a result, doesn't necessarily jump on the trend. So sometimes form takes a back seat to function.
