Not so curved coat racks
Coat racks come in all shapes and sizes. These days, they have nothing to do with the famous chrome models on wheels that you might immediately think of.
It may have happened to you already: you move into your first flat and use some of the furniture, but only to tide you over. For a while, that goes without saying. The years go by and they haven't moved for all that. That's what happened to my first coat rack. I've had a white metal one since 2011. So of course it's done the job so far, but I'd love to see what the world of homeware has in store for me. And to be honest, I've been waiting a while for a bit more choice on that front.
Nature side
The wooden racks from Danish house "Karup Design" focus on the essentials. Made from FSC-certified pine, they consist of two legs on either side acting as supports and a bar for the rod. And to kill two birds with one stone, you can hang a matching mirror. So you save space and avoid drilling holes in the walls.

Figurative
Signed by Adeco, "Tower 60", whose silhouette is reminiscent of a skyscraper, was designed by Zurich-based design studio "Greutmann Bolzern". Slim and slender at the same time, this object of choice takes up very little space. In return, it takes on the appearance of a sculpture that will skilfully set the scene for your finest pieces.

Autonomous
Racks like "Leano" from Berlin-based brand Roomsafari have been designed to lean against a wall and free up space. Their frame? It looks like a frame with two bars attached to the wall at the top. Whatever is hung from the rod becomes part of a creative whole.

Eclectic
A place for everything and everything in its place: the "Toj" rack by Normann Copenhagen features a shelf for storing shoes and bags. It features Danish design, well known for espousing values such as aestheticism and pragmatism. The steel used for the shelf and rod makes this object resolutely modern.

Minimalist
Signed by Roomsafari, "Leanon II" is a sleek support rack featuring a walnut rod and lacquered metal frame. The more clothes you hang on it, the more stable the rack becomes, because its frame rests against the wall. A clever detail? The ends of the rod on both models, "Leanon II" and "Leano", have magnets so you can hang a key ring, for example.
