Fusion 1-Day is an innovative contact lens developed with Fusion technology. It offers longer tear film stability, high wearing comfort, and is particularly thin. The image quality is enhanced thanks to the correction of spherical aberration. With a water content of 60 percent and a slight blue tint, the Fusion 1-Day is specifically designed for people with sensitive eyes.
The contact lens is characterized by its thinness and excellent wearing comfort. A special patented process is used in its production, which cross-links tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) and the natural tear substitute hyaluron in the lens material. This ensures a continuous tear film and prevents mechanical friction between the lens and the eyelid, even after many hours of wear.
Additionally, it effectively prevents dryness and fatigue of the eyes. Thanks to modern manufacturing technologies, the contact lens has a center thickness of only 0.05 millimeters at -3.00 diopters, resulting in very high wearing comfort.
The Fusion 1-Day offers optimized imaging properties that significantly enhance the visual experience. Physically, lenses exhibit spherical aberration, which can affect the representation of objects outside the depth of field. However, this sharpness error is corrected during the manufacturing process of the Fusion 1-Day, improving the imaging characteristics of the daily contact lens.
