Fusion 1-Day

Fusion 1-Day is an innovative contact lens developed with Fusion technology. It offers longer tear film stability, high wearing comfort, and is particularly thin. The image quality is enhanced thanks to the correction of spherical aberration. With a water content of 60 percent and a slight blue tint, Fusion 1-Day is specifically designed for people with sensitive eyes.

The contact lens is made from Filcon IV material and utilizes a special patented process known as Fusion technology. This involves cross-linking tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) and the natural tear substitute hyaluron in the lens material. This ensures a continuous tear film that minimizes mechanical friction between the lens and eyelid even after many hours of wear, effectively preventing dryness and eye fatigue.

Thanks to modern manufacturing technologies, the contact lens has a center thickness of only 0.05 millimeters at -3.00 diopters, resulting in very high wearing comfort. The optimized imaging properties enhance the visual experience, as spherical aberration, also known as opening error, is corrected during the manufacturing process. This significantly improves the representation of objects that are not within the area of maximum sharpness.
