The price is determined by various influences, such as the purchasing conditions specified by the supplier. We always try to offer a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.
We only had this price yesterday for a short time, but it can happen that in our shop, for example, the search field and Google Shopping do not yet have the latest price, but usually within a few minutes after the price in the shop changes, all other places should follow suit.
Hello Dangdang, they are the same as for a gas grill. I bought a big and a small bottle/tank at the grocery store. If the big one runs out, use the small one as a backup.
Have fun ;-)
The pressure regulator is delivered with the oven. It should be 30 mbar.
You can buy the cylinder at any petrol station with a sales service. Piccadilly, Brico etc.
Yes, it works great! 😉 however I advise you to get this option https://mproduction.it/en/prodotto/kit-16-basic/ it costs 80chf with customs and delivery in Switzerland!
Unfortunately, I couldn't find it in the range, and my Google search didn't turn up anything either. Maybe it's worth contacting the customer support here?
So I received the oven today with the 50mbar gas adapter. It fits perfectly the Vitogaz tank (10.5kg) that I have, but after 40 minutes at a full flame, the stone area farther from the flame was not able to go beyond 400 degrees (next to the flame around 450-470 and in the stone middle around 430). Now my question is: since I read the regulator is not for the standard CH swiss tanks, the people that are complaining, are saying that because it does not screw on to CH gas tanks (mine does), or because of some sort of delivery of heat which is not enough with this adapter?
I have other pizza ovens and no issues to reach 500° with the same gas tank I use with them,
- Higher burner power (small model = 4kW, larger model = 8.49 KW).
- thus higher temperature inside the oven (approx. 430°C in the smaller model, approx. 500°C in the larger model).
- Grizzler Pan goes in both versions: the size of the Pan is 32x17cm. The smaller Ooni has an area of 33.7x33.7cm.
I bought both ovens and they both work very well. With the small version it takes a little longer because the burner is only at the back, so the pizza has to be taken out and turned 4 times.
With the Ooni Koda 16, it effectively takes 90 seconds to make a great pizza napoletana. Thanks to the wider opening, with a little practice you can turn the pizza directly in the oven with a small Ø 20cm pizza shovel.
If money is not an issue, definitely buy the larger Ooni, which is definitely more fun and, in my opinion, one of the best gas pizza ovens on the market.
The oven comes with 50mbar regulator and that should work with most “grill” gas bottles.
One thing worth to mention: if you use the 50 mbar instead of the 30 mbar gas pressure regulator on grills that state that you should use 30mbar, there is a risk of fire. If you replace the regulator with 30mbar then the performance of the grill deteriorates. Bottom line: 30 or 50 has nothing to do with the bottle, but with the grill, and ooni uses 50 so you should be fine because the regulator already comes with the grill.
