Question about Ooni Koda 16

So I received the oven today with the 50mbar gas adapter. It fits perfectly the Vitogaz tank (10.5kg) that I have, but after 40 minutes at a full flame, the stone area farther from the flame was not able to go beyond 400 degrees (next to the flame around 450-470 and in the stone middle around 430). Now my question is: since I read the regulator is not for the standard CH swiss tanks, the people that are complaining, are saying that because it does not screw on to CH gas tanks (mine does), or because of some sort of delivery of heat which is not enough with this adapter? I have other pizza ovens and no issues to reach 500° with the same gas tank I use with them,

The stone should not be warmer. The best result you will get with a stone temperature of around 350 - 400° C. The air around the stone will be much warmer. If you really try to bake a pizza on a stone with 500° C, you have to be very fast...

@Alanzed: have you found a solution? I have the same problem. I received the 50mbar adapter, but the oven does not get not beyond 380 degrees.

This product should reach 500 °C even with the adapter, there is this kind of gas grill that can reach more because of the door if it may help you.
