Li-Ion batteries require a different way of charging and discharging, here everything is done by the electronics integrated in the battery. These electronics can prevent damage to the battery through over-discharge, over-charging, overheating or short-circuiting. The battery itself is equipped with very high-quality cells.

To ensure a long and reliable life, the battery should never be stored discharged, but it is also not advisable to store it fully charged. In the off-season, when it is stored, it should be charged to approximately 40 - 50%. Never store a fully discharged battery for any length of time, even if the self-discharge is relatively low. If the voltage of one of the cells drops below 2.8 V, it will be difficult to "revive" the battery. The battery should be stored in a cool place, high temperatures are harmful to it, but it also does not tolerate frost well. Never try to charge the battery quickly, only use the charger supplied with the Hecht product. A properly used Hecht Li-Ion battery has a lifespan of approximately 1000 charging cycles, which can mean several years of reliable use. However, improper use can significantly reduce the service life
