The wood finish is spruce with a modern skid base in white matte lacquer. The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years, with cracks and knots as deliberate features. The feet are white, and the cover color is dark brown. The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance, making each bed unique.

The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, resulting in a slightly rustic textured surface.

We use a solvent-free, water-based varnish, and the abrasion resistance is as follows: imitation leather > 100,000 abrasion cycles; textured fabric 30,000 abrasion cycles. The bed features four adjustable insertion depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm) and is made from wood sourced from sustainable cultivation, coming only from nearby sawmills in Bavaria.

Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered separately. The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic and significantly harder.

The upholstered headboard is included, and the bed size is 140x200 cm with a middle bar.

This high-quality product is made in Germany from solid wood, with a lacquered and brushed surface treatment. The cover material is imitation leather.

Assembly is easy and quick with straightforward instructions. The package includes one upholstered headboard and one solid wood bed, but does not include a slatted frame or mattress. The bed is delivered disassembled.
