The wood finish is spruce with a modern skid base in a white matte lacquer finish. The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years, and the natural wood features such as cracks and knots are intentional.

• Each bed is unique due to the unusual surface treatment that gives the wood a vintage appearance.
• The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish, resulting in a slightly rustic textured surface.

The wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria, and matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered as accessories. We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes, and the wood comes from sustainable cultivation.

The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic and significantly harder.

The bed offers four adjustable depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm) and includes a middle bar from size 140x200 cm.
