The wood finish is spruce, and as a natural product, it features intentional cracks and knots. The rustic structured surface gives it an old wood look, resembling wood that has been stored for 100 years. The wood is sourced from sustainable cultivation and is only suitable for slatted frames with a fixed frame. For sizes 140x200 cm and above, a middle bar is included.

We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes. The abrasion resistance is as follows: imitation leather over 100,000 abrasion cycles and textured fabric 30,000 abrasion cycles. Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered separately. The wood comes exclusively from nearby sawmills in Bavaria.

The thermo spruce undergoes a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. This process significantly increases the hardness of the wood.

The bed features 4 adjustable bed depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm) and includes a high-quality upholstered headboard.
