You'll be in seventh heaven with this living trend
Summer is all about the sun, but in the design world things are different: Clouds are gathering over the living room.
In addition to plants, clouds also stand out as a popular motif in interiors this season. They are the only ones that don't get in the way in summer. On the contrary: the cloudy shapes of home accessories and furniture will amaze you with their aesthetics. Especially in combination with light. Smoky lamps such as those from Bocci come close to a natural spectacle. They breathe an imaginative element into the interior and draw the eye upwards.
Most cloud designs have restrained colours such as grey or beige. Whether as coat hooks or shelves - they are kitsch-free and are therefore suitable not only for the children's room but also for the living room. Unlike angular designs, the organic shape supports the feeling of cosiness. Clouds are even popular in the bathroom: the "Cloud" shelf from Lyon Beton makes stacked toilet rolls look like a cloud, turning them into decoration.

You can let yourself fall into fluffy "Cloud" cushions such as the model by designer Lorena Canals. The same applies to the sofa from Moooi, which at least gives you the feeling of being above the clouds.
Like a cheerleader, I love celebrating good design and bringing you closer to everything furniture- and interior design- related. I regularly curate simple yet sophisticated interior ideas, report on trends and interview creative minds about their work.
