Spotted in our range: my dream basics by Anine Bing
There are two things I’m always on the lookout for. Cool vintage pieces and high-quality basics. Designer Anine Bing does the latter and they’re finally available in our shop.
My algorithm knows me inside out, so it enjoys finding women on Pinterest and Instagram who seem to have the perfect minimalist wardrobe. After some investigative research, it often turns out they have designer Anine Bing to thank for it. It’s not by chance that the Danish-born designer gets me every time with her beautiful and simple designs.
After all, she started modelling at the age of 15, launched a very successful blog at the same time and established her own fashion label based in Los Angeles in 2012. So fashion, trends and social media are in the 40-year-old’s DNA. No wonder Meghan Markle, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Selena Gomez are among her customers. For her latest campaign, Bing managed to get none other than supermodel Kate Moss on board.

Long story short – investing in one or several pieces by Anine Bing seems to be worthwhile. And not just because Kate Moss has given the thumbs up. Also because high-quality, timeless basics are the pillars of any well-stocked wardrobe.
To my great delight, we’ve recently added a small selection of the brand to our range. I’ve selflessly clicked through it and picked out my six favourite basics for you. For example, the gorgeous black Dylan coat made of 90 per cent wool and 10 per cent cashmere. I can already see myself strolling through the winter in it. Or the light-grey cotton Alec hoodie, which doesn’t have annoying drawstrings on the hood or bulging pockets.
I’ve also pinned this look including the Hugh jeans in perfect blue with a wide leg cut.
Simple, beautiful, timeless – I’m telling you. But even if you’re looking to be bang on trend this season with items that are a slightly more striking, you’ll find what you’re looking for. The sand-coloured Tania cowboy boots and the Mini Grace Bag in dark cherry red have made it to my autumn/winter shopping list and is quite possibly my favourite of them of all!
