5 (serious) Crocs you can wear in the water anytime, anywhere
When your head is hot, cold feet are exceptionally welcome. These five Crocs models are stylish, comfortable, and will accompany you anytime for a cool-down in a body of water of your choice.
The thermometer boasts 35 degrees Celsius, and the weather app gasps "Heat level 4, great danger!". In times like these, the right footwear – especially during the week, when you have to fulfill your duties from early morning to late evening despite the heat – is worth its weight in gold.
It has to be open, airy, but shouldn't look too much like a beach and leisure. Because, as I said: duties. Also, please be comfortable. And waterproof. "Hmm?" you're thinking now? Hear me out: If you join the team of water-resistant plastic sandals, your cooling options in summer will multiply many times over!
No matter if you have a few extra minutes in the morning on your way to university or the office, can sneak out of the building for a valuable hour at lunchtime, or finally have knocked off from whatever: Every fountain, river, lake welcomes your shod feet and provides a welcome refreshment. All without the annoying hassle of taking off your shoes, slipping on mossy stones, and potential cuts from shards. Afterwards? The program simply continues.
And which brand has the best selection of sandals that meet all these criteria? If you ask me: Crocs. I already raved extensively about my favorite model last summer – you can find five more favorites here:
Miami Thong Flip
Came to stomp on the clunky Crocs cliché: The "Thong Flip" toe sandal with an adjustable heel strap is delicate, light, and thanks to its TPU material (extremely elastic, abrasion-resistant, and durable plastic), soft and flexible. It is available in black, as well as in Dew and Milk Chocolate.

Getaway Platform Toe Loop
The platform sole with a slight wedge heel adds a few extra centimeters to your height, while the Croslite footbed ensures it always stays comfortable. The entire shoe is seamless and boasts a promising-sounding "Feel Free Technology". Also available in Sandstone and Truffle.
Miami Ankle Strap Sandal
With the Miami series, Crocs has done a lot right. The "Ankle Strap Sandal" also comes with delicate straps – which, for once, wrap over the instep instead of around the toes. Here too, the Croslite footbed promises a walk on clouds. Alternative color: Chalk.
Classic Ballet
Ballerinas divide opinions. Never mind! These are sporty, cute, and extremely practical – because they are robust and have a sensible footbed. Nothing that traditional ballerinas are particularly known for. The strap can also be swung back for better support, and individual Jibbitz can be attached in the holes.
Brooklyn Backstrap Low
If thin straps aren't your thing, the Brooklyn series might be more for you. The sole is stable with a profile, the straps are pleasantly wide, and the one at the heel can be adjusted to your needs. In addition to black, the "Backstrap Low" is also available in Cashew.
Always in the mood for good hits, great trips and clinking drinks.
Practical solutions for everyday problems with technology, household hacks and much more.
