Ugears Tram and rails

Trams are one of the oldest urban means of transporting people and the first electric trams were built towards the end of the 19th century. The UGEARS model is inspired by the earliest trams and with a lot of retro flair is probably the most romantic model among the UGEARS kits.

The model starts moving by pressing the special gear on the roof of the tram.
It can be operated with a rubber motor or like a rack railway.
At both ends of the rails there are special levers which can be used to adjust the rails to an inclined plane. Now, in tilt mode, the tram moves forward by gravity alone. If both levers are operated at the rail ends, the rails are transformed into a bridge.
There are also other levers on the roof, e.g. for changing direction or starting.

With the compartment on the roof of the model, messages or notes can be transported from one end to the other on a table. At the bottom, on both sides of the tram there are movable coupling hooks. There's even a back door to get to the roof.
