Topleem Clay paint

Solvent-free, permanently elastic wall and ceiling paint with a fine texture for interior use, washable according to EN 13 300

Clay paint is breathable and moisture-regulating. In this way it contributes to a healthy indoor climate. It has an antistatic effect, is wet-covering and can be applied almost dripping and splash-free. Due to a very high solids content, the ink has a very good filling and hiding power.

For covering and filling paints on dry, absorbent, grease-free substrates such as wallpaper, plaster and normal mineral surfaces as well as solid old paints and wood.

Dry season:
Can be painted over after 6 - 12 hours depending on room temperature and humidity. Final through-drying after approx. 10 days.

Approx. 0.10 - 0.17 litres per m²; approx. 6 -8 m² per litre.

preparation
Thoroughly remove water-soluble old coatings such as glue or lime. Non-adhesive paint residues or similar must be brushed off. Mechanically roughen very smooth and slightly absorbent surfaces. Highly absorbent and sanding substrates must be pre-treated. Technical information at Topleem Helvetica.

Processing and
The paint is applied with a roller or brush evenly, thinly and vigorously. The paint must be spread evenly in all directions. On light-coloured substrates, one coat of paint is usually sufficient. On highly absorbent substrates (clay plaster, sand-lime brick etc.) we recommend a primer coat with diluted paint (max. 10% water). After thorough drying, the final coat is applied undiluted. The individual layers of paint must be dry before each further coat! Note: Clay colour is a natural product, which can show slight colour variations from batch to batch. It is therefore important to ensure that batches are identical during processing. Buckets of different batches are to be mixed with each other if necessary.
