Topleem Clay paint

Solvent-free, permanently elastic wall and ceiling paint with a fine texture for indoor use, washable according to EN 13 300.

Clay paint is breathable and moisture-regulating, contributing to a healthy indoor climate. It is antistatic, provides good coverage, and can be applied with minimal dripping and splattering. With a very high solid content, the paint has excellent filling and covering properties.

Areas of application:
For opaque and filling coatings on dry, absorbent, grease-free surfaces such as wallpaper, plaster, and typical mineral surfaces, as well as on solid old coatings and wood.

Drying time:
Repaintable after 6 – 12 hours, depending on room temperature and humidity. Final drying occurs after approximately 10 days.

Coverage:
Approximately 0.10 - 0.17 liters per m²; about 6 - 8 m² per liter.

Preparation:
Thoroughly remove water-soluble old coatings such as glue or lime washes. Non-adhering paint residues should be brushed off. Mechanically roughen very smooth and less absorbent surfaces. Highly absorbent and powdering surfaces must be pre-treated.

Application:
The paint is applied evenly and thinly with a roller or brush. It should be spread evenly in all directions. On light surfaces, one coat is usually sufficient. On highly absorbent surfaces (clay plaster, lime sandstone, etc.), we recommend a preliminary coat with diluted paint (max. 10% water). After drying, the final coat should be applied undiluted. Each layer of paint must be dry before applying the next one! Note: Clay paint is a natural product and may show slight color variations from batch to batch. Therefore, it is important to ensure batch consistency during application. Buckets from different batches should be mixed together if necessary.
