Yes, it works perfectly. I also use it this way and the picture is still hanging today. I can only recommend it!
These nails may be a little too thick for a serrated hanger. The nail does not hold badly on roughcast. mfg
There are two nails plus several glues in the pack. The nails are great, but the price here is way too high. I paid much less last time on this site!
