Nitto PVC228 is a highly flame-retardant electrical insulating tape. It consists of a pure PVC carrier coated with a pressure-sensitive rubber-based adhesive. The tape is approved for electrical applications and classified according to IEC60454-3-1-10/F-PVCp/105 and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Nitto PVC228 is an electrical insulating tape for professional use that offers excellent conformability. The tape is used to protect and secure wiring in electrical equipment. The tape is used extensively in the automotive industry, such as in cable harnesses or in the engine compartment. In the telecommunications sector, the tape is used for bonding and terminating wires and cables, colour identification, wire harnesses, cable repairs and general applications.
