The anti-slip shank with three milled clamping surfaces prevents the drill from spinning in the chuck (from Ø 5.0 mm).

Iron oxide alloy effectively protects against overheating. The Extreme 2 features a center point that enables precise spot drilling without running off, while specially ground shoulder cutting edges mill exact, circular holes with clean edges (from Ø 4.8 mm). Circular bores have clean, almost burr-free hole edges and offer up to 50% increased breakage stability.

The constantly increasing core diameter in the direction of the shank provides the highest breakage stability in freehand use (from Ø 4.8 mm).

Application examples include drilling sheet metal and thin-walled profiled materials (as well as tubes without pre-graining) where precise and clean holes are required.
