The Extreme Dewalt 2 center point enables precise spot drilling without running off, while specially ground shoulder cutting edges mill exact, circular holes with clean edges (from Ø 4.8 mm). Start immediately when setting; no more center punching is necessary.

Abrasion-proof size markings, placed outside the clamping area, ensure permanently good legibility (from Ø 5.0 mm). The constantly increasing core diameter in the direction of the shank provides the highest breakage stability in freehand use (from Ø 4.8 mm).

The anti-slip shank features three milled clamping surfaces that prevent the drill from spinning in the chuck (from Ø 5.0 mm). The Extreme 2" center point allows for precise spot drilling without running off, and the iron oxide alloy effectively protects against overheating.

This tool is ideal for freehand drilling in thin-walled materials, with up to 50% increased breaking strength.

Application examples include drilling sheet metal and thin-walled profiled materials (as well as pipes without pre-graining) where precise and clean drilling is required. It is also very suitable for drilling wood and plastics, and for use in alloyed and unalloyed steels up to 900 N/mm² tensile strength.
