The extreme centre point enables pinpoint drilling without running off, while specially ground shoulder cutting edges mill exact, circular holes with clean edges (from Ø 4.8 mm).

The iron oxide alloy effectively protects against overheating, resulting in circular bores with clean, almost burr-free hole edges. There is up to 50% increased fracture stability, and the constantly increasing core diameter in the direction of the shank provides the highest breakage stability in freehand use (from Ø 4.8 mm).

You can start immediately after setting; no center punching is necessary. The extreme drill is the specialist for freehand drilling in thin-walled materials, making it suitable for use in alloyed and unalloyed steels up to 900 N/mm² tensile strength. It is ideal for drilling sheet metal and thin-walled profiled materials (as well as tubes without pre-graining) where precise and clean holes are required. It is also very suitable for drilling wood and plastics.
