Reliability across the board: Our 3M VHB Tape 5962 black is a 16 mm thick, extremely adaptable, double-sided high-performance tape made from modified acrylic adhesive. It can be quickly and easily applied, providing powerful and long-lasting durability. It can replace rivets, welds, and screws. Use this high-performance, viscoelastic VHB tape on a variety of surfaces such as powder coatings. 3M VHB high-performance tapes are double-sided tapes made from closed-cell acrylic adhesive. They offer very high adaptability to the surfaces being bonded. Smooth or textured surfaces can be bonded over their entire area without stress. Ideal for many low-energy surfaces, powder-coated surfaces, plastics (excluding soft PVC), or glass. In many applications, the use of primers can be omitted.
