Gütermann extra strong sewing thread No. 40

Gütermann's extra strong sewing thread is ideal for all seams subject to heavy wear, e.g. jeans. Especially suitable for heavy materials such as leather or tarpaulins. Please use needles with a strength of 70-100 for the extra strong sewing thread.

  • For all heavily stressed seams
  • ideal for sewing denim (also in special denim stitching colour no. 448)
  • especially suitable for robust repair work
  • for heavy fabrics, leather and tarpaulins
  • elastic and soft
  • can be sewn with a thin needle to protect the fabric
  • recommended needle and needle size: universal needle NM 100-120
