Gütermann Extra Strong Sewing Thread No. 40

The extra strong sewing thread from Gütermann is ideal for all seams that are subjected to heavy stress, such as jeans. It is particularly well-suited for heavy materials like leather or tarpaulins. Please use needles with a thickness of 70-100 for this extra strong sewing thread.

  • For all heavily stressed seams
  • Ideal for sewing denim (also available in the special denim sewing color No. 448)
  • Especially suitable for robust repair work
  • For heavy fabrics, leather, and tarpaulins
  • Elastic and soft
  • Can be sewn with a thin needle without damaging the fabric
  • Recommended needle and needle size: Universal needle NM 100-120
