Gütermann Extra Strong Sewing Thread No. 40

The extra strong sewing thread from Gütermann is ideal for all seams that experience heavy stress, such as jeans. It is particularly well-suited for heavy materials like leather or tarpaulins. Please use needles with a thickness of 70-100 for this extra strong sewing thread.

  • For all heavily stressed seams
  • Ideal for sewing denim (also available in the special denim sewing color No. 448)
  • Especially suitable for robust repair work
  • For heavy fabrics, leather, and tarpaulins
  • Elastic and soft
  • Can be sewn with a fine needle to protect the fabric
  • Recommended needle and needle size: Universal needle NM 100-120
