Wood finish: spruce with floating optics. The old wood look resembles wood that has been stored for 100 years. As a natural product, wood may have intentional cracks and knots, and features a rustic structured surface. The cover color is black, and the unique surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance.

The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish. THERMO spruce is treated in a specially developed process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic and much harder. The wood is sourced from surrounding sawmills in Bavaria and comes from sustainable cultivation.

We use solvent-free, water-based lacquers. Abrasion resistance is high: imitation leather withstands over 100,000 abrasion cycles, while textured fabric endures 30,000 cycles.

The bed is available from size 140x200 cm with a center bar, and matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered separately. The distance between the bed frame and foot is 25 cm. Each bed is unique and features an upholstered headboard.
