The laleggera collection is the highest expression of technology and research. The result is a combination of solid, traditional materials such as solid wood, and modern, lightweight polyurethane foam that is injected into the structure. The covering with wood veneer or laminated panels can be finished with transparent or colored lacquer. In 2009, laleggera was included in the permanent collection of MoMA in New York.
