I have connected my monitor to the PC via HDMI. I do not use the USB ports of the monitor.
I don't have a solution, but a possibly useful info: I have the same setup with my 2018 13" MacBook Pro and the devices connected to the display (mouse+keyboard) work fine.
The sticker on the original cable reads: "Fill USB3.1 Gen1 5A CM-CM". maybe that helps?
Unfortunately, I don't quite understand the question... You can connect something to this monitor with DP as well as with HDMI 👍
Yes, I received it with a USB-C cable but no other
Personally, I charge a 13" HP Spectre and it works perfectly well.
I had three of theses screens. All had this high pitched humming noise (really annoying). But only as long as power is delivered via USB-C. It really is a design flaw of this screen. My workaround is to provide power via a seperate power supply and using USB-C only for data transmission, then there is no hissing and humming.
The screen has a VESA wall mount 100 x 100 mm. If this fits then yes.
What makes you think that? Does the screen stay dark? Or just your study?
It's very simple. As soon as you connect the Thunderbolt (USB Type-C) to your MacBook, all USB ports on the display also connect to your laptop. I have a keyboard and a mouse on this screen that run directly through my Lenovo laptop when I connect the screen via Thunderbolt.
That does not work. It only works with USB-C (3.1). You can connect the USB hub from the display via USB 3.0, but you still need a video cable (HDMI, DisplayPort). Only USB-C (3.1) can charge, transmit a video signal, etc.
Yes, the power supply is integrated, you only have the power cable, which is external.
To be able to use the full USB-C function (image and sound transmission, USB slots), you also need a USB-C output on your computer, i.e. you need a USB-C to USB-C cable. For image and sound transmission alone, HDMI to HDMI or Displayport to Displayport is sufficient.
If you mean whether video and data can be transferred via the USB-C cable, then yes, that is possible. The monitor charges the connected device at the same time. The USB-C cable is included.
Mine also chirps - depending on the power consumption of the connected computer, but only quietly.
The brightness can be adjusted, but the minimum is bright (disturbingly so for me). More suitable for bright workspaces.
yes that works, meaning you only need to connect the included USB-C cable and you get everything (charging, screen and USB hub).
According to my information, only a USB 3.1 Type C cable is included and unfortunately no other video cable.
Yes, Lenovo advertises the screen as Flicker Free (see link). http://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/datasheet/ThinkVision_P27h_datasheet_EN.pdf I could not detect any flicker in practice either (using the factory setting).
