When connected via USB-C, electrostatic noises (coil whine) are clearly perceptible from the back of the monitor. It gets worse if you are simultaneously charging a smartphone via the USB port on the monitor and the screen switches off. Then the subtle noise turns into a loud whistling. Do others have the same problem, or should I have the monitor exchanged?
Mine also chirps - depending on the power consumption of the connected computer, but only quietly.
I also hear whistling noises when the laptop is powered by the monitor via USB C. As soon as the laptop's power supply unit is connected, the noise disappears. I have exchanged my monitor twice and it has happened with all three of them. So it doesn't seem to be a defect but rather a design flaw.
Mine is silent and I am very sensitive.
Yours is defective --> exchange it
We have >10 in use in the office, all without the problem. Definitely exchange them.
I have two and they both make no noise....
