I only have one hdmi output on my computer. 1) what cable do i need to buy to also use the usbc function of the screen? 2) what cable do i need to buy to just use the screen? it's a shame that this wasn't included.

To be able to use the full USB-C function (image and sound transmission, USB slots), you also need a USB-C output on your computer, i.e. you need a USB-C to USB-C cable. For image and sound transmission alone, HDMI to HDMI or Displayport to Displayport is sufficient.
