When I was working from home, I cooked with you almost every day in the livestream. Now I'm going out and inviting someone to chat and cook with me every week.

You left hundreds of comments, tips and inputs and always wished me "En guete". It's been a few weeks since the end of "Schnitz und drunder" from my kitchen. Almost like Netflix, we are now starting with "Season 2". We are now streaming from the "Yard" on Helvetiaplatz in Zurich, a former restaurant. Three camera angles, two dishes, one guest. Exciting and funny conversations, delicious dishes and the odd kitchen disaster await you.

"Schnitz and Drunder": The second prank

Starting off with an old friend

My first guest is Bettina Bestgen, a freelance journalist for three years and an old friend of mine. Bettina first became known as a presenter on SRF Virus, where she was responsible for the tattoo series "Inked", among other things. She now works for various radio stations in Berlin, where she has interviewed Union coach Urs Fischer, for example.

It will actually be Alfred Biolek's programme "Alfredissimo" on Lo-Fi. We'll be cooking vegan on Thursday at Bettina's request, drinking a sip of Chasselas from Badoux and would love you to join us, live streaming from 11am.

When I flew the family nest over 15 years ago, I suddenly had to cook for myself. But it wasn’t long until this necessity became a virtue. Today, rattling those pots and pans is a fundamental part of my life. I’m a true foodie and devour everything from junk food to star-awarded cuisine. Literally. I eat way too fast.
