Pia’s Picks: pretty thirst quenchers for your plants

With these watering cans and accessories, there’s no way I’ll forget to water my plants again. They’re so good-looking, my eyes are glued to them like candyfloss to your hands.

Shiny watering cans

Watering cans made of stained glass or plastic have one big advantage. When light shines on them, they literally glow. The shimmering surface attracts my attention, turning them into an eye-catcher as well as a friendly reminder to water my plants regularly.

Attractive spray bottles

The same effect is achieved by these glass spray bottles, which are made for moisturising plants that thrive in high levels of humidity. Their iridescent surface and colour make heads turn. The metal atomiser is also quite the attraction and exudes a retro touch.

Irrigation system

To be able to fulfil my duties as a plant parent when I’m away on holiday, a plant sitter comes into play. In other words, an irrigation ball that lets water seep into the soil without my intervention and prevents it from drying out. Models including Raindrops by Butlers, Flora Globe by Hübsch or Water Rocks by Kikkerland are a simple but elegant way to keep an eye on my babies.

In my Pia’s Picks series, I share items from my watch list that you might like too.
