I just have to share this Korean vitamin C serum with you!

It’s already the second bottle of its kind that’s living in my mirror cabinet. The same can’t be said for most cosmetics. Goodal’s vitamin C serum is a great mood booster in the morning – and a massive skincare recommendation.
I’m always searching. Even if I was happy with a product, I’ll set off to new shores as soon as the jar or bottle’s empty. So after using up my beloved All Day Vitamin Serum by Jumiso, I was ready for something new. As usual. However, I wanted to stay on the tried-and-true K-Beauty track, so spontaneously decided to go for the Goodal brand’s Green Tangerine Vita-C Dark Spot Care. I hit the bull’s eye and have now even gone and bought it again.

Its light, gel-like texture exudes a subtle, citrus-fresh scent, which, quickly fades away, however. The serum’s enriched with extract of green tangerine and vitamin C, which is supposed to lighten pigment spots and pimple marks over time. So if you have freckles you’re attached to, you’d better steer clear of this stuff. Vitamin C is one of the most studied antioxidants in skin care. It protects your skin against free radicals, thereby preventing premature ageing. In addition, vitamin C boosts collagen production. Good to know: vitamin C is more or less unstable depending on the formulation. It can oxidise on contact with oxygen, light or high temperatures and lose its effectiveness because of it. So make sure to always keep it in a cool place away from the light.

I apply the product daily in the morning before my sunscreen and enjoy the glow it leaves on my skin. Bonus points go to the yellow, frosted-glass dispenser with its lime-green pump head. Just looking at it puts me in a good mood.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
