Dry and sensitive skin? This toner works wonders

Do you have sensitive skin and are looking for a toner that’s quickly absorbed and provides your skin with a moisture boost? Look no further.
I wouldn’t have thought I’d ever describe one of my skincare products as «really fascinating». Again and again, I shake and turn my Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner by Haruharu Wonder and marvel at the dancing air bubbles inside the bottle. It reminds me of a snow globe. But as fascinating as it looks, that alone isn’t enough to secure a place in the front row of my mirror cabinet. Luckily, the product I’m recommending has more to offer.

At first glance, Haruharu Wonders Toner looks more like a gel, but it’s very liquid. Apply it before the serum and it’ll be absorbed entirely and leave no film on your skin. It contains hyaluronic acid and extracts from fermented black rice and the bark of bamboo shoots. The ingredients are supposed to make the skin more supple and elastic. Don’t have any dry facial areas? Well, lucky you! You don’t need a toner. Unless you want to artificially extend your skincare routine. But on well-hydrated skin, this product probably won’t make a difference.

Beware of confusion: There’s a toner from Haruharu Wonder’s same line that looks confusingly similar to this one. But you can tell the two apart by their design. The near-twin also features a grey gradient, but from bottom to top. The product I’m recommending in this article, however, has a grey gradient from top to bottom and a milder formula that – unlike the original – doesn’t contain essential oils (fragrances) or alcohol. This also makes it suitable for sensitive skin.

The toner isn’t completely scentless. Its subtle scent reminds me of the smell I get when I open a bag of rice.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
