Not a fan of trashy Christmas jumpers? If so, trendy red clothing’s for you. It combines elegance and festiveness without compromising on style.
At the beginning of the year, I reported that rich red is the trend colour of 2023. Has everyone had enough of it by now? Quite the opposite! From scarves to knitted sweaters and tights – the most classic of all bright colours is more present than ever this winter.
Red clothes and accessories are also the perfect solution for Christmas fans who’re too fashionable to wear trashy Christmas jumpers. They give your look a subtle festive touch without being over the top. And unlike Christmas jumpers, you don’t have to banish them to the darkest corner of your wardrobe for the remaining eleven months of the year.
Inna’s look isn’t suitable for winter, that’s for sure. My advice? The layering trick – wear thicker tights in your skin colour under the thin black tights. This way, you won’t get cold and can still sport that slightly see-through look. To make the outfit snow-ready, simply swap the heels for boots and go for a maxi-length knitted dress. Oval sunglasses, a leather shopper bag and gold hoop earrings add the finishing touches to this stylish Christmas look.
