Pleated trousers are a hybrid between comfortable sweatpants and elegant slacks, making them perfect for creating a stylish feel-good outfit.
One of my favourite items of clothing for just chillin’? Pleated pants. Characterised by a wide fit and elastic waistband, their loose fit leaves enough room to wear tights underneath for added warmth. The pleats not only offer maximum freedom of movement as they expand, but also give the pants a sophisticated look.
With pleated pants, you don’t have to worry about changing, be it for a trip to the grocery store, post office, or even a day at the office. Pleated pants are essentially the elegant alternative to joggers. Designer and influencer Orlaith Melia shows how you can combine the piece in a minimalist look, suitable for staying in or going out.
