Grimbergen Blanche is a Belgian wheat beer (Witbier) with the strong character of an abbey beer.

This fruity and refreshing Witbier has a pale yellow, cloudy appearance and a creamy head. It is characterized by aromas of citrus fruits, cloves, and coriander. Subtle hints of bergamot and vanilla contribute to its unique flavor. This specialty beer is particularly enjoyed with fish and as an aperitif.

Founded in 1128, the Grimbergen Abbey was destroyed by a terrible fire in 1142; the same happened again in 1566 and 1798. However, after each destruction, the abbey was rebuilt. The monks then chose the phoenix as their symbol, representing the cycle of eternal renewal. Their beer recipe has withstood the tests of time and remains the foundation of this legendary beer with an incomparable character.
