Fusion 1-Day is an innovative contact lens developed with Fusion Technology to provide longer tear film stability and high wearing comfort. It is particularly thin and enhances imaging by correcting spherical aberration. With a water content of 60 percent and a slight blue tint, the contact lens is specifically designed for people with sensitive eyes.
The Fusion 1-Day contact lens by Conil is made from Filcon IV material and utilizes a special patented process known as Fusion Technology. This involves cross-linking tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) and the natural tear substitute hyaluron within the lens material. This ensures a continuous tear film and reduces mechanical friction between the lens and eyelid, even after many hours of wear. This effectively prevents dryness and fatigue of the eyes.
Thanks to modern manufacturing technologies, the contact lens has a center thickness of only 0.05 millimeters at -3.00 diopters, leading to very high wearing comfort. The imaging properties have been optimized to provide a better visual experience. Physically, lenses exhibit spherical aberration, which can affect the representation of objects outside the area of maximum sharpness. However, this sharpness error is corrected during the manufacturing process of the Fusion 1-Day contact lens, significantly improving imaging properties and the overall visual experience.
