Fusion 1 Day is an innovative contact lens developed with Fusion technology. It offers longer tear film stability, high wearing comfort, and is particularly thin. The correction of spherical aberration enhances the imaging quality. With a water content of 60 percent and a slight blue tint, this lens is specifically designed for people with sensitive eyes.
The Fusion 1 Day contact lens by Conil is made from Filcon IV material and utilizes a special patented process known as Fusion technology. This involves crosslinking tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) and the natural tear substitute hyaluron within the lens material. This ensures a continuous tear film and prevents mechanical friction between the lens and eyelid, even after many hours of wear. As a result, it effectively prevents dryness and fatigue of the eyes.
Thanks to modern manufacturing technologies, the contact lens has a center thickness of only 0.05 millimeters at -3.00 diopters, leading to very high wearing comfort. The imaging properties are optimized to ensure a better visual experience. Physically, lenses exhibit spherical aberration, which can affect the representation of objects outside the depth of field. However, this sharpness error is corrected during the manufacturing process of the Fusion 1 Day, significantly improving the imaging properties and visual experience for the user.
