Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of model kits. However, the popular 14 ml paint can also be used on many other materials. All colors, except for signal colors, are mixable with each other and can be thinned with Revell Color Mix.
This paint can be applied not only with a brush but also with a spray gun. For cleaning, Revell Painta Clean is used for brushes and Revell Airbrush Clean for the spray gun.
This color is used for:
- markings on military aircraft
- visibility aids for military aircraft, especially for the US Alaska Air Command
- partially on fighter jets from the 1950s (application: wing tips, vertical stabilizers, horizontal stabilizers, and rear fuselage sections)
- as an exterior paint for remote-controlled aircraft of the USAF and US Navy
