Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of model kits. However, the 14 ml paint can, popular among many hobbyists, can also be used to paint various other materials.
All colors, except for signal colors, are mixable with each other and can be thinned with Revell Color Mix. This allows the paint to be applied not only with a brush but also with a spray gun. For cleaning, Revell Painta Clean is used for brushes and Revell Airbrush Clean for the spray gun.
This color is used as a surface camouflage for the new US Navy standard camouflage scheme, as an interior paint for aircraft of the German Luftwaffe from 1939-1945, and partially in combination with other gray and green tones for surface painting (e.g., Fairchild A-10 Thunderbolt II). Granite gray can also be used for weathering instead of anthracite.
