Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of model kits. However, the 14 ml paint can, popular among many hobbyists, can also be used to paint a variety of other materials. All shades, except for signal colors, are mixable with each other and can be thinned with Revell Color Mix. This allows the paint to be applied not only with a brush but also with a spray gun.
For cleaning, Revell Painta Clean is used for brushes and Revell Airbrush Clean for the spray gun.

as a random paint on many military and civilian aircraft
as a marking and identification color on military and civilian aircraft
as a top coat for night fighters of the Luftwaffe in World War II
for the undersides of Luftwaffe aircraft during night operations instead of light blue RLM 65.
