The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is a single-engine, four-seat high-wing aircraft produced by the American Cessna Aircraft Company and is the most manufactured aircraft type in the world. This robust light metal aircraft, produced since 1956, boasts excellent flying characteristics and is therefore commonly used as a training aircraft for pilot education.
